Privacy Policy

• Account data — your first name, email and password (passwords are stored hashed by our auth provider).
• Profile data — optional photo, location, bio, languages.
• Content you post — listings, photos, wanted requests and messages to other users.
• Transaction data — when you buy a Boost or Business plan, our payment provider processes your payment. We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as pages viewed and listings contacted, to improve the Service.

• To provide the marketplace: publish listings, enable messaging and search.
• To create and secure your account.
• To process paid features (Boost, Business).
• To send service notifications (new messages, listing activity).
• To keep the Service safe (moderation, fraud and abuse prevention).

We share data only with providers that help us run the Service:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing for paid features.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.

We do not sell your personal data.

Listings, your public profile (name, photo, location, ratings) and wanted requests are visible to anyone, including non-users, and may be indexed by search engines or shared via links. Do not post information you want to keep private.

Messages are visible to you and the other participant. Balist does not guarantee or escrow transactions. Meet in a public place and inspect items before paying.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete listings at any time and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

You may access, correct or delete your personal data, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at perle.vales@gmail.com.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
